ABOUT this artwork:
Acevedo's paintings have nobility in their construction. Behind the glazes, the blurs, the dark backgrounds and the planes of carmine, vermilion and ultramarine lurks an affection as strong as the pigments of oil; I mean, his paintings exude life experience, depth, states of consciousness. Background and form dialogue at the same height, with the same speed and with the same skill. There is no divorce between what he feels and what he does, between what he thinks and what he executes. His plastic universe, as we wrote before, is rhythmic but goes directly to the target.

New York, USA- First Prize in the “IX National Coca Cola Painting Contest”My inspiration comes from different sources, they can be from sensations from everyday life, from dreams, from ancient mythology, from ancestral rites, from memories dormant in my memory and that emerge when faced with some external stimulus.
