EDUARDO ARRÁEZ

Description

In the works we see in this show I try first of all to express what I feel, to enjoy the pictorial act so I give an extraordinary value to the creative process. This is of vital importance. Behind 'Suggestive' is a whole investigation, an evolution, a development and a search for oneself. Try to control the uncontrollable, take over the chaos, and still enjoy the accident.

I find it exciting to experiment, helps me to get out of the plane, to express with more force and transmits me a unique beauty. I feel very comfortable talking with matter, with textures. I use organic materials, cement, earth... from nature. In principle these materials are not typical of painting, it is the material informalism, Tapies, Feito, Millares, etc., which opened this door.

Although my language is different from yours, many years have passed and the context is no longer the same. We could say that in my case, they are works that tell us stories subtly, sometimes not so much, about places and moods that are more or less close to me, what I seek is to express myself through composition, color, matter and texture. If we go away to have a more complete vision of the whole, we could say that all part of nature, and that is why I work a language that is so proper to him.
