Teresa Gómez Martorell lives and works in Barcelona. She obtained her BFA in the Universitat de Barcelona. She pursued her printkaming studies at Atelier 17 Contrepoint in Paris and her MFA at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, US
Printmaking is her primary medium along with artist's books, drawing and textile art. Her art work explores nature in a diaristic way, from sketches from nature's every day life. This allows to to work in a more narrative way and combine sets of images. As well, she combines her art practice with masterprinting and as a fine arts professor.
